The SFSD meeting, scheduled at Valdocco, Turin from 18 to 21 January 2024, aims to revive Salesian spirituality in its fundamental dimensions, in a spirit of communion between the 32 groups of the Salesian Family, and in the light of the message of the Strenna of the Rector Major.
By way of invitation to the appointment or, better yet, to arouse in all members of the Salesian Family the desire to participate in the event, the organisers of SFSD 24 have created an exciting video that, with a few words and many scenes taken from the experiences of recent years, shows clearly what the Salesian Family Spirituality Days consist of.
While the cameras scan across the more or less known environments of Valdocco – from the courtyards to the crypt of the relics, from the Casa Don Bosco Museum to the old Print Press – some guiding words flow across the screen: Welcome, Meeting, Don Bosco, Mary Help of Christians, Strenna, Family, Prayer, Holiness, Group Meetings, Party, Presentations of the various groups, Joint Formation, Diversity of Vocations... words that represent the stages and dimensions of the event.
Without ever forgetting the ultimate goal for which all this takes place: "For young people".
