The event will bring together those responsible for the various sectors of the educative and pastoral mission, with particular attention to those related to Youth Ministry and Social Action, Communication and Schools. The goal is to promote dialogue between these leaders and respond to the requests of the various areas that make up the Salesian Network Brazil.
“Today, young people are strongly present on social networks. And this is our great challenge! It is understanding the languages of networks. It is interpreting, really grasping what is there and what is cultivated, expanded and absorbed by young people”, comments the Executive Director of the RSB, Fr. Nivaldo Luiz Pessinatti.
At the national level, the face-to-face meeting, which will take place over three days, will be an opportunity for the members of the Brazilian Salesian Network to share effective strategies, develop common projects and strengthen the action of the network.
“The intention is to leave Aparecida with some concrete actions, so that we can put them into practice as early as 2024. I have a very positive expectation of the meeting, given that we currently have 425 people registered from the 10 Provinces, who want to be together and reflect on young people” said the executive director of the RSB, Sister Silvia Aparecida da Silva.
