In going to the root of Don Bosco's "Da mihi animas, cetera tolle" one inevitably encounters the passion for youth that is generated from Jesus' passion for souls. Jesus' offering in His sacrifice on the cross, the culmination of the passion, has its prelude in the Passover supper, in the gift of the Eucharist to His disciples and the whole Church. "Without the Eucharist there would be no Church, there would be no real presence of Jesus, it would be impossible to evangelize young people, to turn wolves into lambs," explain the coordinators of the initiative.
The central points of next Saturday's reflection will focus on:
- "Seeking the New: What does it mean?
- The vocational timbre of youth ministry is the true leaven of novelty;
- How to make young people grow in this perspective?
- The center of all this is the Eucharistic life.
