"We have the task of educating to respect life, in all its forms. In our schools and universities, in our oratories and parishes, we meet thousands of young people, we help them grow and accompany them on the path of life. To them we must convey positive values and deliver a more just, equitable, and liveable world," the 10th Successor of Don Bosco states clearly.
And in this appeal, the Rector Major is not alone: Sister Chiara Cazzuola, Mother General of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians joins the words of Fr. Á.F. Artime: "The Daughters of Mary Help of Christians walk with the whole Salesian family on the path of integral ecology. We believe that the world is a marvelous gift to be cared for and safeguarded." And so do the Salesian Cooperators, the Past Pupils, the Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA) who wish to represent here, in this short video, the whole family of Don Bosco and Mother Mazzarello.
All together they invite us to act concretely and to subscribe to the Laudato Sì Platform of Initiatives launched by the Vatican’s Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development: https://piattaformadiiniziativelaudatosi.org/
The video-message of the Rector Major is available on YouTube with the original in Italian, and subtitles in Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese.
