Spain - October 2016 - Valladolid, León, Palencia and Villamurriel de Cerrato, are four places where the Juan Soñador Foundation is running projects to help young people to take their place in society and in the workforce. The Despega Joven project ended in Valladolid on 31 October. In it seventeen young people were trained to work in bars and restaurants. The School of Integral Training & Employment was established in Leon. It organizes various courses in catering. Thirty-one young people are taking part at present. Various workshops in Information and Communication Technology are being offered in these months in Villamuriel de Cerrato and Palencia.

Macas, Ecuador - October 2016 - As part of the Extraordinary Visitation to the Province of Ecuador, Fr Timothy Ploch, Councillor for the Inter-America Region, visited the Salesian houses in the city of Macas on 10 and 11 October. Fr Ploch is pictured with teachers from the Don Bosco School, which educates more than 1,800 students.

Turin, Italy - November 2016 - On 6 November in the Ferrante Aporti juvenile prison in Turin, the prison chaplain, Fr Domenico Ricca, SDB, celebrated Mass for the Jubilee of the Prisoners. The celebration was held in conjunction with the Mass in St Peter's Basilica, presided over by Pope Francis with about a thousand prisoners.
