Date – Posorja, Ecuador – July 2024 - The Third Meeting of the Sierra-Oriente 2023-2024 Volunteers ended by involving 36 young people from all over the country who carried out the Missionary Youth Volunteer Service of the Salesian Family (VJMFS). The sharing of emotions, anecdotes, learning and formation together was part of the programme they experienced from 5 to 7 July at Casa Margarita, in Date – Posorja. During the day, the young people thanked God for allowing them to conclude about a year of missionary service in the country. In the same way, motivated to share what they have learned, they have written a letter to upcoming volunteers, in which they express words of encouragement and inspiration for the new generation to bring renewed hope to the places where they are going. Many young people from different branches of the Salesian Family in Ecuador are already in the final phase of the pre-volunteer and are preparing with the same missionary spirit for the next Sierra-Oriente expedition to be held in August this year.
