Milford, Ireland – June 2024 – The Irish Salesian Provincial Chapter (IRL) took place from 7 to 12 June in the Salesian community in Milford, Diocese of Limerick. 22 Chapter members were present, exploring and reflecting on the theme of the next GC29 "Passionate about Jesus Christ, dedicated to young people: living our Salesian vocation faithfully and prophetically", and its three core areas. Fr Patrick Hennessy was the Moderator. 30 lay collaborators were also invited, involved in the review of  Provincial reorganisation.

Yokohama, Japan – June 2024 – Mathayom 2 (Grade 8) students of the Salesian SME programme of Saeng Thong Vitthaya School (Salesian School) and Thidanukroh School (FMA School), Hat Yai, Songkhla Province, totaling 50 people and 3 teachers, went to exchange culture and educational experiences at the cultural learning centers and schools in the Salesian network at Salesio Gakuin Junior and Senior High School, Yokohama, Japan, from the 6th - 12th June 2024. This was an opportunity to visit a Salesian school in Japan where Thai students can study together and do activities with Salesian Japanese students,  such as learning sports,  music,  and practice English.  They received a warm welcome from Father Daniel Torigoe, SDB, the school director.  Saeng Thong School has organized this event for the third year in a row.  This activity helped create a close relationship between a Salesian School in Japan and a Salesian School in Thailand.

Cebu, Philippines – June 2024 - The first District Youth Olympics were organised on 7-9 June by youth workers from the Archdiocese of Cebu, in favour of young people from District 2 in the Cebu South Metro area. The parish priests and youth directors sent boys and girls to take part in this three-day sports celebration. The parishes were grouped into four houses based on their location: Ark of the Covenant, Morning Star, Seat of Wisdom, and Vase of Honor. The Youth District Olympics aimed to build friendships and bonds between young people from different parishes, promote sportsmanship and camaraderie, and encourage physical activity. Various sporting and cultural events were organised, including basketball, volleyball, chess, dance and various types of games. Beyond the competitive aspects, the Youth District Olympics offered young people a valuable opportunity to showcase the talents, ingenuity and skills that God has given them. Among the four participating houses, the overall winner of the first District Youth Olympics was Ark of the Covenant House, which includes the parishes of Punta Princesa, Tisa, Pasil, Labangon, Mambaling, and San Nicolas.
