Italy - L'Aquila: Vocational training for young asylum seekers
L'Aquila, Italy - May 2016 - In recent days 11 young immigrant asylum seekers began an afternoon course of 200 hours in the repair of motor vehicles. The course is taking place at the Salesian Vocational Training Centre of L'Aquila and is run in collaboration with the ARCI of L'Aquila and Caritas Avezzano. It will allow these young people between the ages of 18 and 32 to learn the Italian language and will give them a technical-professional basis for a future job.
