Aguas Blancas, Uruguay - February 2020 - "Celebrating our identity: we are pastoral charity," said Fr Sergio Álvarez, SDB, in the homily of the closing Mass of the 2020 Assembly of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM), which took place on 8-9 February. The event was attended by around 80 people including staff members, representatives and young people from each community. During the days, the Assembly worked on how to transform the pastoral proposals keeping in mind the Communication Plan, the SYM Formation Plan and the SYM Teenage Plan. Those present also prepared the "Acampada 2021", and the "Ir a más" project and the SYM 2020-2023 calendar were defined.
