Lubumbashi, R.D. Congo - November 2019 – On November 27, the Councilor of the Africa-Madagascar Region, Fr Américo Chaquisse, concluded his Extraordinary Visitation of the Salesian Province of Central Africa (AFC), conducted on the Rector Major's behalf. The meeting, held at the Inter-provincial Theological Studentate “St Frances of Sales”, was attended by the Directors, Provincial councilors and all the Salesians of the Province. The presence, for three months, of Fr Chaquisse in the AFC Province was a moment of comfort for the fulfillment of the Salesian mission among the young.
