Bogotá, Colombia - November 2019 – Taking place from 22nd to 24th November, at the Salesian College "León XIII", was the Annual National Assembly of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) of Colombia, organized by the "Saint Peter Claver" Province of Bogotá. The meeting was attended by SYM representatives of the six Provinces of Colombia of the Salesians of Don Bosco and of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, together with their respective Delegates for Youth Ministry. The participants reflected on SYM identity and projects in the country, as well as deepening the experience of Salesian youth spirituality. Moreover, as part of the national strikes taking place these days, the young people were present in "Plaza Bolívar" to pray for peace and social justice, thus fulfilling the socio-political commitment to which they feel called as young Christians.
