Brazil - Students of "Dom Bosco" Institute in Salvador win 11 medals at Brazilian Olympics of Astronomy and Astronautics
Salvador, Brazil - November 2019 - On 19 November there was the award ceremony of the 22nd edition of the Brazilian Astronomy and Astronautics Olympics held on 17 May with over 784,000 participating students from around 18,000 schools. A group of students from the "Dom Bosco" Salesian Institute in Salvador, belonging to the Brazil-Recife Province (BRE), won 11 medals, of which 2 were gold. The "Dom Bosco" Institute encourages students to participate in national Olympics through tutoring offered by Physics professor Juliana Chung, who helps them hone the skills necessary to face the competition.
