Italy - Italian course for European pre-novices
Castelnuovo Don Bosco, Italy - July 2019 - From 1 to 30 July the first part of the training experience for the prenovices of Europe takes place. 12 boys take part, that is 6 from Croatia, 3 from Spain, 1 from Hungary, 1 from Portugal and 1 from Slovenia. From September they will start the novitiate in Genzano and Colle Don Bosco. In the morning, their joint study is led by two teachers, followed by activities after lunch, a precious time to meet with the Salesians of the community, aimed at exploring the spirit of community life and sharing and stimulating one's own gifts and talents through music, sports, cleaning, assistance in the refectory and prayer. They are accompanied by a Salesian team, chaired by Fr Paco Santos of the Formation Dicastery. In August, the Italian and Polish prenovices will join the group to fulfill the second part of the experience together with the Meeting of the Salesian prenovices of Europe.
