Philippines - A shrine of Mary Help of Christians on Olango Island
Olango Island, Philippines - July 2019 - On 14 July Fr Godofredo Atienza, Superior of the Salesian South Philippines Province (FIS), Fr Keith Amodia, Delegate for FIS Social Communication, and a group of ADMA members, accompanied a statue of Mary Help of Christians from the city of Lapu-Lapu to the Isle of Olango. The delegation was welcomed in the port by faithful and devotees who marched together with the statue in procession to the parish of "St Augustine of Ippona", in Barangay Santa Rosa, where the statue's enthronement ceremony was held before parish priest Fr Melton Medida. During the ceremony, 11 aspirants of the ADMA of the Island of Olango were officially accepted.
