Cochabamba, Bolivia - July 2019 - From June 23 to July 13 Fr Juan José Bartolomé, 12 years the secretary of Rector Major Fr Pascual Chávez, is guiding the Spiritual Exercises of the Salesian Family in Bolivia, organized in three consecutive sessions in Cochabamba and Santa Cruz. The central theme of the reflections is holiness as happiness, inspired by the Apostolic Exhortation of Pope Francis: Gaudete et Exsultate. In one of his talks, Fr Bartolomé said: "We really need to return not only to the young, but also to Don Bosco, to overcome our problems, our difficulties, and to reanimate our spiritual and Salesian life."
