Italy - International Youth Forum
Sassone di Ciampino, Italy - June 2019 - From June 19 to 22 the "International Youth Forum" is held, promoted by the Department for the Laity, Family and Life, in which 246 young delegates take part, aged between 18 and 29 years, representing 109 countries and 37 communities, movements and ecclesial associations. Present among them Carina Baumgartner representing the Salesian Youth Movement. The objective is to promote the reception and continuation of the synodal path of the XV Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops, held in the Vatican from 3 to 28 October 2018 on the theme: "Young People, Faith and Vocational Discernment". Among the speakers on 21 June was: Fr Rossano Sala, SDB, Special Secretary to the Synod of Bishops on Youth, on the theme "From dreams to decisions: accompanying young people in their vocational journey".
