Žiar, Slovensko - April 2019 - During the Octave of Easter, the second part of the Provincial Chapter of the Salesians of Don Boso in Slovakia was held. In addition to the contents for the 28th General Chapter (GC28), the 48 Salesians who had gathered also addressed the situation of the Province, especially with regard to vocations. Other topics discussed were Salesian culture, authentic fraternal life, ongoing formation, animation of the Salesian Family, the digital world, pastoral care in the peripheries and the involvement of the laity in the Salesian mission. A few days after the Chapter there was a meeting with representatives of the Salesian Family and of the Salesian Youth Movement, to share the results of the Provincial Chapter.
