Austria - Thinking the future together
Vienna, Austria - April 2019 - From 14 to 17 April, the Salesian Province of Austria (AUS) celebrated its Provincial Chapter. The 20 capitulars gathered at the "Don Bosco" house in Vienna to explore the central themes: collaboration with the laity, the structure and identity of the community and preparation for the 28th General Chapter (GC28). In the new development plan of the AUS Province, the suggestions of 5 lay collaborators in different fields of activity were also accepted. As delegate for the GC28, in addition to the Provincial AUS, Fr Petrus Obermüller, the director of "Don Bosco Mission Austria", Günter Mayer, SDB, was elected. Fr Obermüller said: "We seriously want to think together about the future. Together with our collaborators we go forward with courage towards the coming years."
