South Korea - Concert of Ecological Music by children of Darkhan
South Korea - February 2019 - A group of children from the Salesian parish in Darkhan, Mongolia, went to South Korea from 11 to 22 February to perform in ecological music concerts, led by Fr Simon Lee, SDB, Director, the parish priest, Fr Anthony Kishore Minj, SDB, and their music teacher and songwriter, Jaminkharal. The performances of ecological music, which is performed with various natural instruments, were held in various parishes, hospitals and other institutions, with the aim of raising awareness on the protection of the environment. Traditional Mongolian music mimics the sounds of animals and nature. One of the shows was broadcast by the Catholic television channel and the radio and was appreciated by many Koreans.
