South Africa - SYM youth reflect on Pope's message for World Communications Day
Johannesburg, South Africa - May 2018 - On 12 May the young people of the Salesian Youth Movement in Johannesburg met at the "Don Bosco Educational Projects" in Ennerdale to reflect on the message of Pope Francis for the World Day of Social Communications. There was a debate about what it means to be a Christian online and how to counteract the problem of fake news. In addition, young people were asked to produce a video that promotes peace journalism, especially on social networks.
