Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea - February 2018 - On 24 February, Fr Alfred Maravilla, Superior of the Papua New Guinea Vice Province and Solomon Islands (PGS), officially launched the first issue of the Salesian Bulletin (SB) of the PGS Vice Province in the presence of the bulletin's Director Fr Ambrose Pereira and many Salesians. The event took place during the First Seminar of Media Education organized by the Social Communication of the Catholic Episcopal Conference (SOCOM) at the Don Bosco Institute of Technology (DBTI), which saw the participation of 65 students from 7 Catholic schools. The program highlighted the message of the Holy Father for the 52nd World Communications Day: "The truth will make you free (Jn 8:32) - False news and journalism for peace".
