Venezuela - Salesians: signs of hope among young people
Caracas, Venezuela - February 2018 - In a Venezuela hit by the crisis, the Salesians are signs of hope among young people, following the guidelines drawn by the Rector Major's Strenna 2018: "Lord, give me this water. We cultivate the art of listening and accompaniment." In order to regain the Salesian School of Joint Formation (Salesians and Laity), a "Study Day on Accompaniment as the axis of Ministry" took place on 10 February, attended by Salesians and members of the various groups of the Salesian Family. The themes presented were: "Jesus and accompaniment" by Msgr. José Ángel Divassón, SDB, Vicar Apostolic Emeritus of Puerto Ayacucho, and "Accompaniment in the Salesian charism" by Fr Rafael Borges, SDB, and Sister Henar Alcalde, FMA.
