Papua New Guinea - Salesian Family Day and Salesian Mission
Boroko, Papua New Guinea - November 2017 - On the 142th anniversary of the first Salesian missionaries in Patagonia, about a hundred members of the Salesian Family met for the Salesian Family Day and the Salesian Mission of the Vice Province of Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands (PGS). Divided into two sessions, on formation and sharing, the day's event was led by Fr Sonny Fajardo, Delegate for Missionary Animation, and Fr Alfred Maravilla, PGS Provincial. The Eucharistic celebration was presided by the Bishop of Kerema, Salesian Pedro Baquero.
