Argentina - 25 years of shared mission: Salesians and lay persons in Ramos Mejía
Ramos Mejía, Argentina - October 28, 2017 - The “Ramos Mejía” center celebrated 25 years of lay management. The center - where Jorge Mario Bergoglio also studied - was one of the pioneers in the Salesian world to have a lay Director. In the celebratory Mass those who launched this process in 1992 were recalled. Even Major Rector Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, who repeatedly emphasized the importance of the "shared mission", sent a congratulatory video for the occasion.
