Brazil - Project to help one another, practice solidarity, create new bonds of friendship
Vitória, Brazil - November 2017 - Helping others, practicing solidarity, and creating new bonds of friendship are part of the educative-pastoral project of the Salesian College “Jardim Camburi” of Vitória, Belo Horizonte Province, which for over five years has been promoting activities in the home for children and adolescents. During the Salesian students' weekly visits to the home, about 200 socially vulnerable children and teenagers receive assistance from the project through donations of clothing, food and school supplies. The Salesian students also organize recreational activities such as games, arts and crafts workshops and sports.. Families are also involved to create a bond of friendship and best support these children and teens.
