Vatican - Pope Francis receives watercolors from Salesian Bulletin of Portugal
Vatican City, Vatican - October 2017 - In relation to the Centenary of the Apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima, the Salesian Bulletin of Portugal has produced a collection of 31 original watercolors that were donated to Pope Francis. The collection is the result of the "31 days with Mary" newsletter, which during May gathered thousands of faithful in the celebration of the centenary. The deacon Joaquim Antunes, director of the Salesian Bulletin of Portugal, Fr Artur Pereira, former Provincial of Portugal and Nuno Quaresma, the watercolor artist, handed the collection to the Holy Father at the general audience of October 18.
