Italy – ADMA Piemonte’s Formation Journey Continues: “Prayer and Prayers”
Cumiana, Italy – April 2025 – On Sunday, April 6, the ADMA group of Piemonte continued its spiritual formation journey themed “Prayer and Prayers” with a gathering at the Salesian house in Cumiana (Turin). The focus of the meeting, attended by more than 50 families, was the “Act of Hope.”
At the end of the day, the new leadership council for the Primary ADMA group—set to take office on May 24—was introduced. The day concluded with the celebration of Mass and a special prayer for Fr. Fabio Attard, the newly elected Rector Major of the Salesians.
During the catechesis, Fr. Roberto Carelli emphasized that what we hope for is always good, future-oriented, and uncertain but possible. “My God, I hope in your goodness.” Christian hope, he explained, is based on God’s promises and the merits of Jesus Christ, which are the very reason for our hope. Its object is eternal life, and the grace needed to attain it through good works. The Act of Hope ends with a heartfelt plea: “Lord, may I enjoy You forever,” a prayer for perseverance until the end—so one may stand before God and say, “Here I am, Father, I’ve arrived.” Hope, nurtured throughout life, finds fulfillment in possessing the One we have long sought.
