02 April 2025

Comoro, Timor-Leste – March 2025 – From March 29 to 31, approximately 540 members of the Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA) from the Timor-Leste Vice-Province (TLS) took part in a national Lenten retreat under the theme "Living in Faith: Facing Today's Challenges." Participants came from 17 different associations, ranging from Lospalos in the east to Cailaco in the west.

Held at Don Bosco Comoro Gymnasium, the retreat began with a reflection by Fr. Nelson Gonçalves, SDB, titled "Renewal and Hope as the Church Celebrates the Jubilee of Hope." On the second day, Fr. Jojo San Juan, SDB, led a session on "Living in Faith Through Challenges," preparing participants for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The retreat concluded with a Eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr. Apolinário Neto, SDB, Parish Priest of Mary Help of Christians Church, who encouraged attendees to respond to God’s call in their daily lives. The Mass was concelebrated by several Salesian priests, along with the presence of FMA Sisters, ADMA leaders, and national coordinators.

Following the Mass, an assembly was held where ADMA members exchanged thoughts and suggestions to further enrich their faith journey within their respective communities.
