Kenya – International Women’s Day Celebration at Don Bosco Embu
Embu, Kenya – March 2025 – This year’s International Women’s Day was a special occasion for Don Bosco Embu and neighboring schools. On Saturday, March 8, 15 schools—mostly girls' institutions—joined Don Bosco Technical Secondary School and Don Bosco Embu Technical Institute to commemorate the event. The 2025 theme, “Accelerate Action”, provided an opportunity for girls to explore technical education labs and the farm while attending sessions on education, entrepreneurship, and health. After lunch, students showcased musical performances, dances, and skits. The event was made possible through the sponsorship of DBTech Africa, GP II (Good Shepherd Pallotti Institute, Kenya), and DBDON (Don Bosco Donholm, Nairobi), supporting the organization of the program.
