New Rochelle, United States – February 2025 – The Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry of the Salesian Province of the Eastern United States and Canada (SUE) hosted its first program of the year, the Valdocco Retreat 2025. Held at the Marian Shrine in Stony Point, New York, the retreat gathered over 100 participants, including the youth team, retreat attendees, the core team, and adult mentors from 11 Salesian works or affiliated institutions. During the weekend, the group deepened their understanding of the sacraments, the Salesian charism, and other key themes. The retreat provided an opportunity for participants to have a personal encounter with the Lord, guided by a team of 13 young leaders, marking the first time the retreat leadership was composed entirely of youth.
