Chile – Training Days for New Members of Salesian School Coordination Councils
Santiago, Chile – February 2025 – The new members of the Coordination Councils of Salesian Schools in Chile participated in a formation and training session on February 25 & 26. The goal was to familiarize themselves with the identity elements of the Salesian educational-pastoral mission. The program included reflective moments of prayer, presentations on the structure and operation of the Salesian Congregation, and a space for sharing and networking among the new members.
Fr. David Rivera, Delegate for Youth Ministry of the Salesian Province of Chile (CIL), emphasized the importance of teamwork among leadership teams to enhance the teaching and learning process. Additionally, the Framework for Youth Ministry was presented as a key reference for reflection, planning, programming, and evaluating pastoral action within the Congregation. Vicente Fritz, Delegate for Social Communication of the CIL Province, shared a strategic vision of communication within the Congregation. The event concluded with a review of the provincial calendar and a focus on the pastoral priorities for 2025.
