India – Bosco College of Teacher Education Secures B++ Grade in First NAAC Accreditation
Dimapur, India – February 2025 – Bosco College of Teacher Education (BCTE), Dimapur, has secured a B++ Grade in its first accreditation cycle by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.86. The B++ grade underscores BCTE’s commitment to academic excellence and continuous development. A distinguished NAAC Peer Team conducted an on-site evaluation on February 13–14. The team commended BCTE for its structured pedagogy, dedicated faculty, strong student and alumni networks, and well-established institutional infrastructure. They also provided recommendations for further enhancement, particularly in research initiatives and digital learning integration. In addition to the NAAC assessment, BCTE underwent an Academic and Administrative Audit (AAA) conducted by the Directorate of Higher Education, Nagaland, on February 5. The AAA peer team accredited the institution with a B Grade and a CGPA of 2.32 on a four-point scale. Reaffirming its commitment to sustainability, the institution also conducted a Green Audit on January 27. With these achievements, BCTE joins the ranks of esteemed institutions dedicated to excellence in the teacher education sector. Expressing gratitude for this significant achievement, the Principal, Father Dr. Jose Joseph of BCTE, extended profound appreciation to the entire BCTE family for their unwavering support, dedication, and contribution. He acknowledged the collective effort of faculty, students, and staff in attaining this milestone and encouraged continued commitment to academic growth and excellence.
