Brazil - Perpetual Profession of four young Salesians
Jaboatão dos Guararapes, Brazil - January 2025 - On 31 January, the Basilica of Our Lady Help of Christians experienced a significant moment for the Salesian Family: the Perpetual Profession of four young Salesians. The celebration, presided over by the Salesian Provincial of Recife, Brazil (BRE), Fr Francisco Inácio, marked the path of discernment and formation in religious life of the young people: Amós Santiago de Carvalho Mendes, Bruno Dias Assis Santos, João Paulo de Souza, José Renato de Melo. The rite, full of meaning, symbolises the definitive commitment of the new religious to the Salesian mission of educating and evangelising, according to the legacy of St John Bosco.
