Campo Grande, Brazil - February 2025 - Archbishop Vitório Pavanello, SDB, Archbishop Emeritus of Campo Grande, Brazil, bought a block of tickets in a lottery promoted by the Cursilhos de Cristandade Movement (MCC) in recent months and was the winner of the draw on 9 December. As a prize, Archbishop Pavanello won a car, which he decided to donate to the St John Bosco kindergarten. The vehicle handover ceremony took place on Saturday, 1 February, and was attended by the Archbishop Emeritus and the president of the Diocesan Executive Group (GED), Ana Clara Sobral Borges. ‘The Holy Spirit inspired me to give the car to an institution that really needed it,’ explained Archbishop Pavanello. Now the St John Bosco Kindergarten will organise a new raffle with the donated car to raise funds for the upkeep of the institution.
