Panama – First session of the SYM Leaders school to strengthen formation of young people in charge of youth groups
Panama City, Panama – January 2025 - Saturday 11 January, the Sala San Francesco de Sales in the Basilica of Don Bosco was the scene of the first session of the "Leaders School", an initiative organised by the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM), to strengthen the overall formation of young people in charge of leading youth groups. This meeting brought together people in charge of formation and secretaries from different groups, who actively participated in a day full of learning, reflection and fraternity. The session included group dynamics designed to promote teamwork, practical workshops focused on the management and leadership of the group and formation topics that highlighted the importance of Salesian values as part of every activity. The young participants not only strengthened their leadership skills, but also renewed their commitment to service and mission to accompany other young people on their journey of faith and personal growth. This initiative is part of the SYM's efforts to cultivate committed leaders, capable of passing on the spirit of Don Bosco in their communities.
