India – Salesian priest is honoured in Siliguri
Siliguri, India - September 2024 - A group of young professionals from Siliguri celebrated this year's teachers' day by awarding honours to headmasters and senior teachers. Among the educators who have received recognition from the Marwari Yuva Manch, one of the largest youth volunteer organisations in the country, is Fr C.M. Paul, teacher at the Salesian College Siliguri in the State of West Bengal. The award was presented on 8 September by the Inspector General of Sashatra Seema Bal - North Bengal, Sudhir Kumar, during an event held at the Surya Grand Siliguri Hotel. In the plaque given to Fr C.M. Paul, the motivation reads "in recognition of your selfless contribution as an educator".
