Mexico – First Profession ceremony for 11 novices from three Salesian circumscriptions
Mexico City, Mexico – June 2024 – Monday 24 June 2024, Feast of St John the Bpatist and St John Bosco’s Name Day, in the parish shine of Mary Help of Christians in Mexico City, 11 young novices made their first profession as Salesians of Don Bosco. They come from three Salesian Circumscriptions in the Interamerica Region: Mexico-Guadalajara (MEG), Central America (CAM) and Haiti (HAI). In the name of the Rector Major of the Salesians of Don Bosco, the solemn Mass was presided over by Fr Ignacio Ocampo Uribe, Superior of the Host Province of Mexico-Mexico (MEM), flanked at the altar by Fr Filiberto González Plasencia, Superior of MEG, Fr Julio Andrés Navarro Mora, Superior of CAM, as well as many other Salesian priests from various Provinces of the Region.
