Suwon, South Korea - October 2016 - The Seventeenth General Chapter of the Sisters of Charity of Jesus opened on 5 October with the retreat led by Fr Stefan Yang, Provincial of the Salesians of Korea. The theme was "Let our charism flourish in the world to respond to the Church and to the signs of the times."  Thirty-two Sisters are participating in the Chapter. They represent about one thousand members present in 15 countries.
