Guatemala - A new Salesian priest for God and for young people
Quetzaltenango, Guatemala - January 2024 - The priestly ordination of Deacon Manuel Alejandro Urízar Meckler, SDB, took place on Saturday 20 January, at San Nicola da Tolentino church. The sacrament was conferred by Bishop Víctor Hugo Palma, bishop of the diocese of Escuintla. Fr Julio Navarro, Superior of the Salesian Province of Central America (CAM), and numerous Salesians from all over the Province concelebrated with the bishop.
