Cameroon - A song and video presented in honour of St Artemides Zatti
Yaoundé, Cameroon - November 2023 - On 13 November, on the occasion of the liturgical commemoration of Saint Artemides Zatti, Salesian Emery Badosanye of the Saint Augustine Theologate in Nkol'Afemé, released a song and video on his YouTube channel dedicated to the Saint. It was entitled simpy "Zatti". The author of the song explains: "After realising that Saint Artemides Zatti is not known by the majority of Christians and young people in Yaoundé, knowing that he cannot be invoked without being known, I decided to dedicate a song to him. Zatti is a piece that tells the story of the exemplary love of a young migrant, nurse, Salesian and saint at the bedside of the sick and helping the poor. It is also a vibrant call to charity, knowing that according to charity we will be judged (Mt 25:31-46). St Artemides Zatti challenges us more than ever in a world torn apart by wars and social injustices of which the poor are increasingly the victims."
