Caracas, Venezuela - November 2023 - A meeting of Provincial Youth Ministry Teams for the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB) and of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA) took place on 7 November, at the Provincial House of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians. The aim of the meeting was to share, recognise and appreciate the effort that is being made in Venezuela through educative and pastoral projects that seek to accompany the young people in the different SDB and FMA works in the country in a systematic and organised manner. Present at the meeting, for the FMA: Sr Alicia Boscán, Sr Inmaculada Hurtado, Sr Maigualida Rizzo, Sr Jimena Jaramillo, Sr Julieta Martínez, Sr Alba Rodríguez and Professor Yorman Caballero; for the SDBs: Fr Alfredo Oliveros, Fr Jorge Bastidas, Fr Juan Luis Arveláez and Fr Pedro Miguel Sánchez. The presentation of the projects helped the participants to reflect on points that make them dream of a unified pastoral work based on Salesian spirituality and pedagogy. The main task of these meetings is to seek ways of continuing to accompany young people in a more organised and articulate manner.
