Mexico - First Salesian-trained Engineers in Mexico
Saltillo, Mexico - 6 October 2016 – Seventeen students of Don Bosco Technological Institute (INTEC) of Saltillo which was opened in 2003, graduated with a degree in Electromechanical Engineering and Mechatronics, making them the first Salesian-trained engineers in the country. Twenty-nine other young people celebrated the end of their studies after two years in the Higher Technical University courses in Mechatronics and Higher Technical Degree in Electromechanical, with a specialization in Industrial Management or in Metallurgical Processes. INTEC offers technical courses to baccalaureate level, and in recent years more than two thousand students have graduated.
