UN – Young People on the UN Agenda thanks to the International Institute of Mary Help of Christians (IIMA)
Geneva, UN - September 22, 2016 - At the round table organized by the UN on "Youth and Human Rights" two young people linked to the FMA Office of Human Rights (IIMA) were among those invited. Simon-Pierre Escudero spoke on the problems in gaining access to employment and the importance of volunteering among young Salvadorans. Maria D'Onofrio spoke on the role of young people in changing society. Their participation was also recognition of IIMA and VIDES, which were the first to have the theme of 'youth' included in the Human Rights Council.
