South Korea - Salesians celebrate six first professions and two perpetual professions
Seoul, South Korea - January 2023 - The Salesian Province "Korean Martyred Saints" (KOR) celebrated the first profession of six Salesians and the perpetual profession of two on January 27. In the morning in the community chapel of the Provincial House, six novices made their first profession in the hands of Fr. Timothy Choi Won-cheol, Superior of the KOR Province. In the afternoon of the same day, Dominic Kim Hyun-ki and Joseph Shin Yun-mi, members of the Daerim-dong formation community, made perpetual profession for specific formation to the priesthood. The celebration was attended by several young people and more than 200 members of the Salesian Family.
