Argentina - "El Soñador," a training experience for animators
San José, Argentina - January 2023 - From January 4 to 9 at the Agrotechnical Institute "Pascual Gentilini," located in San José, a town in the Province of Misiones, Department of Apóstoles, the "El Soñador" event was held, a training experience for animators proposed by the Youth Ministry of the Province of Northern Argentina (ARN). During the five days, 105 participants from various cities and accompanied by different animators took part in various workshops on pastoral programming, the Bible, animation, and Salesian commitment. Also, there were sessions for reflection and dialogue in groups and on a personal level. The chosen location allowed the participants to be in contact with nature, contemplate Creation and pray together, all of which fostered a profound encounter of the young people with God. Noteworthy is the fact that, with respect for nature, the training materials were made available only in digital format; waste produced was sorted; and leftover food was reused for other Gentilini Institute camp activities.
