India - The Mumbai Provincial Federation conducted visitation to Gujarat region
The Mumbai Provincial Federation conducted visitation to Gujarat region on the 10th & 11th December 2022, covering a distance of approx. 400 kilometres and visiting 5 Don Bosco institutions. The purpose of the visitation being to strengthen the existing unit and facilitate setting up of new units. The institutions visited were Narukot Unit (new unit), Chhota Udepur Unit (existing unit), Kavant Unit (new unit), Makarpura Unit (new unit) in the state of Gujrat and Alirajpur Unit (new unit) in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The visiting team consisted of Mr.Ketan Gala – National President, Fr.Donald Fernandes – Provincial Delegate, Mr.Rashmin Desai – Provincial President, Mr.Sachin Kotian – Vice President, Mr.Rajeev Mehra – Secretary & Mr.Pravin Agrawal – Committee member. It was a visitation wherein the Past Pupils of the various units were explained in detail the structure and strength of the Past pupils Association and how they can collaborate with the Salesians to carry forward the mission of Don Bosco. During the interactive sessions many a queries raised were replied to in detail. One thing common among all the Past Pupils from the various units was the enthusiasm to give back to our alma mater for the wonderful Salesian education received.
