Brazil - Campo Grande Provincial Fr Ricardo Carlos is new president of CISBRASIL
Brasília, Brazil - The nomination and installation of Fr. Ricardo Carlos, Superior of the Salesian Province of Brazil - Campo Grande (BCG), as the new president of CISBRASIL for a three-year term took place this Wednesday, Nov. 23, during the 35th General Assembly of CISBRASIL, and the 32nd General Assembly of the Salesian Network Brazil (RSE), in Brasília (DF). Since Monday, Salesian provincials from all over Brazil have been meeting to discuss common activities for Salesians throughout the country, including topics such as administration, formation, meeting of parish priests, vocation site, the 2023 calendar, choice of new national coordinators for youth ministry, formation and reconfiguration of provincials responsible for each mission activity. Among the proposals presented and discussed was the Theology Formation Project, a study on the values of the Curatoria and the formators of those houses. The assemblies were attended by the Regional Councilor for Southern Cone America, Fr. Gabriel Romero, who presented the dates of the meetings and gatherings that make up the 2023 Calendar of RSB and CISBRASIL activities.
