Brazil - Salesian Teacher, Olympic torchbearer
Suzano, Brazil - The Olympics are coming to an end, but the Salesians have been well represented at this great celebration of sport. For example, Adalberto Barbosa, a teacher of Physical Education at the Salesian School of St Teresa in São Paulo, carried the Olympic Torch through the streets of Suzano on 26 July. With an essay entitled “Love for Sport, Education for Life" he had won a competition sponsored by one of the sponsors of the event.
