Cameroon - Diaconal ordination of eleven Salesians
Yaoundé, Cameroon - June 2022 - On June 26, at the "Baptism of Jesus and St. Ambrose" parish, eleven Salesians from the "St. Augustine" theological studentate in Nkol'Afeme, Yaoundé, were ordained deacons. The celebration was presided over by Msgr. Miguel Angel Nguema Bee, SDB, bishop of the diocese of Ebibeyin (Equatorial Guinea), in the presence of Fr. Roland Mintsa, Superior of the Equatorial Tropical Africa (ATE) Vice-Province, and Fr. Peter Morba, Vicar of the Africa Nigeria Niger (ANN) Province, accompanied by a dozen Salesians. During the homily, Msgr. Nguema Bee urged Salesian deacons to carry out their lifelong service and with a strong sensitivity to young people, especially the poorest.
