Gibilmanna, Italy - June 2022 - On June 5, the 15th ADMA Marian Day of Sicily was celebrated at the shrine of Gibilmanna (Cefalù). The event, organized and coordinated by members of the Sicilian regional council chaired by Salvo Di Maio, was attended by about two hundred people, belonging to a dozen of the many ADMA groups on the island. Also present at the meeting was ADMA's World Spiritual Animator, Fr Alejandro Guevara, who led the catechesis together with three counselors from the primary ADMA of Valdocco with their families, who shared with their Sicilian friends the joy of their journey in the school of Mary. The Eucharist was presided over by Fr. Guevara together with Fr. Luigi Calapaj and Fr. Santo Muratore. Gratitude and the spirit of service were the key words of Fr. Guevara's intervention and the members of the association spoke in testimonies, sharing, and prayers. Heart of the catechesis was the reminder of the four foundations of belonging to the association: a journey of sanctification and apostolate in the footsteps of Mary; formation as a way of life; mission as "Salesians"; heirs of Don Bosco: looking to those who came before and those who will follow.

In conclusion, Fr. Guevara issued some challenges to those present and in general to all ADMA members that can be summed up in the phrase "Love more as Mary loves." Only by imitating Mary more can we learn to accept the gift of the Holy Spirit and draw closer to Jesus.
